If the command checksum output matches the SHA256 fingerprint specified in the Tanzu Network package information, the file was downloaded intact. You can safely proceed to install the software.
For RHEL/CentOS and Ubuntu, you can download a Tanzu Greenplum Backup and Restore software distribution as a package for the Greenplum package manager (gppkg). You can also download and install the software from a tarball.
For compatibility with Greenplum 7 Beta, you must download and install the software from the compressed tarball available on the VMware Tanzu Greenplum Backup and Restore download site. Do not use the .gppkg archive to obtain the binary.
